Landscape Arch

The Landscape Arch is located in the Arches National Park in Utah, United State. It is the longest of the many natural rock arches. Landscape Arch is the fifth longest natural arch in the world. It can be reached by short walk or hike along with a maintained trail and an amazing arch.The trail is accessible year-round. It is now fenced off because the pieces of it fell away. And the visitors are no longer allowed to travel underneath the Landscape arch. The accurate measurements of the
Landscape arch is located at the end of the Devil's Garden Trail. There are an awesome number of arches and other natural sculptures in the area of Devil's Garden.

Delicate Arch

Delicate Arch is located in Arches National Park near Moab, Utah, USA. It is a 65-foot-tall (20 m) natural arch and the most recognized landmark in Arches National Park. Many people from all over the world visit the Arches National Park. It also happens that Delicate Arch is located along one of the most dynamic hiking trails within Arches National Park and more than 480 feet above the parking lot and trailhead in the valley below.
Delicate Arch is not easily seen from the main park road, there is a trail to see Delicate Arch up close and personal. Delicate Arch is hidden in a bowl at the top of the parks famous sandstone fins.The parking lot and the trail in Delicate Arch can be very busy through much of the year. Sunrise is just as beautiful as sunset, it is much cooler and always less busy. Sunset is a particularly busy time, and sometimes hundreds of people will be at Delicate Arch for sunset.
Spring and fall is the best season to hike in Delicate Arch because the temperature are cooler. And always bring enough water when going to hike. In the middle section of the trail is steep and there is no shade it is open slickrock with some exposure to heights. Once you have begun hiking on the slickrock you must follow cairns (stack of rocks) as the route slowly climbs over the sandstone hill.

Mt. Woodson (Potato Chip Rock)

Mt. Woodson (Potato Chip Rock) is one of the famous Hiking trails in San Diego. Mt. Woodson Trails are well maintained and dogs are allowed. It's rated as moderately strenuous. The trail is very steep and narrow in some places. Don't forget to bring enough water, it was dry and extremely hot especially during summer season. But when you reach to the top are worth the effort. Many people are waiting to take their pictures on the famous Potato Chip Rock! On your way down its the same trail, going down is a lot faster and easy than going up the trail.

  • 8 miles round trip
  • 4 to 6 hours hike
  • 1,700 feet of elevation gain
  • There's a parking lot fee ($5)
